At six years old, Ash wrote her first story (a princess trapped in a gilded cage who’s saved by a particularly dinged-up knight) and absolutely nothing has changed in the thirty-odd years since then.
Her degree in English from University College Dublin (UCD) did nothing to deter her from writing stories about secretly soft boys with bloodied knuckles, and the women who are determined not to be rescued by them. But now, she can call herself a best-selling author… and she does, quietly, in the bathroom mirror every morning.
She lives in Ireland with her very patient husband, two wonderful kids, the sweetest shih-tzu, and the raft of builders who are still working on our six-month home renovation, two years later.
